The first call for nominations for the LAUC-Davis Distinguished Librarian Award was issued on 14 February 2005 with a due date of 1 March 2005. No nominations were forthcoming and the due date was extended to 15 March 2005. Again, no nominations were made. In consultation with Robert Heyer-Gray, Chair of LAUC-Davis, the members of the committee were dismissed with thanks for their service.
